Our Doctors
Dr. Justin T. Brown
Dr. Brown was born and raised in Davis County. He attended both the University of Utah and Weber State University where he graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Spanish and Chemistry. He served a two-year mission for his church in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In college he was the coach of the cheerleading team and also taught gymnastics and Spanish for the university. He was the recipient of music, athletic, and teaching scholarships at Weber State.
Dr. Brown attended Creighton University with a state scholarship and there received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. During dental school he was on the Dean’s list every semester and received the Pierre Fauchard Academy Foundation scholarship for academic performance as well as the American Association of Orthodontics award for dental and clinical excellence. He was a leader in the Indian Chicano Clinic where he organized and volunteered time to provide free dental services to the less fortunate in the Spanish community. He was introduced into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society.
After dental school, Dr. Brown attended the University of Missouri at Kansas City for his Orthodontic training. He was active in clinical activities as well as research. He has researched and written several articles dealing with current clinical and practice management techniques. Dr. Brown is a memeber of the American Association of Orthodontists, Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, South Davis Dental Society, and the LDS Dental Society.
Dr. Brown met his wife teaching cheerleading and gymnastics clinics across the western United States. They are the proud parents of six beautiful children. He loves to sing and play the piano, ski, hike, mountain bike, golf (on good days), and exercise, but most of all, spend time with his family.
Dr. Seth N. Nye
Dr. Nye is proud to serve the community he has always considered home. He and his wife both grew up in Davis County and are grateful to have returned to Northern Utah to raise their family and care for patients in the community they love.
Dr. Nye earned his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, with minors in Zoology and Spanish, from Weber State University. He then attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and graduated at the top of his class. He completed his orthodontic specialty training at the University of Michigan and graduated Magna Cum Laude with each of his three degrees.
As a board-certified orthodontist, Dr. Nye is committed to providing exceptional, evidence-based care using the latest advancements in orthodontic treatment and technology. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association and has received numerous academic honors throughout his education. He has also contributed to the profession through multiple research publications in dentistry and orthodontics.
Today, Dr. Nye is honored to serve as a partner in the practice, where he combines advanced clinical training with a personalized, patient-centered approach. He is passionate about creating healthy, confident smiles while ensuring every patient feels comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their orthodontic journey.
Outside the office, Dr. Nye enjoys spending time with his wife and family and taking advantage of everything Utah has to offer. Whether he’s skiing or snowboarding in the winter, hiking the mountains in the summer, or exploring the outdoors year-round, he values an active lifestyle and loves sharing his enthusiasm for the place he calls home.
